Joint Strategic Technologies (JST) Ranks No. 2683 on This Year’s Inc. 5000

NEW YORK, NY [13 August 2024]Inc. revealed today that Joint Strategic Technologies (JST) has ranked No. 2683 on the 2024 Inc. 5000, its annual list of the fastest-growing private companies in America. This prestigious ranking provides a data-driven look at the most successful companies within the economy’s most dynamic segment – its independent, entrepreneurial businesses. Microsoft, Meta, Oracle, and many other household-name brands gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

“It is a tremendous honor to be named one of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. for the fourth time,” said Joint Strategic Technologies’ CEO and President, Jaime Toogood. “This achievement is a testament to our dedicated team and the trust our customers place in us, and it motivates us to push the boundaries of excellence in everything we do. After over a decade of consistent growth, we’re eager to continue offering impactful solutions to our customers in both commercial and federal government sectors for many years to come.”

The Inc. 5000 class of 2024 represents companies that have driven rapid revenue growth while navigating inflationary pressure, the rising costs of capital, and seemingly intractable hiring challenges. Among this year’s top 500 companies, the average median three-year revenue growth rate is 1,637 percent. Over the past three years, Inc. 5000 companies have added 874,458 jobs to the economy.

“One of the greatest joys of my job is going through the Inc. 5000 list,” says Mike Hofman, who recently joined Inc. as editor-in-chief. “To see all of the intriguing and surprising ways that companies are transforming sectors, from health care and AI to apparel and pet food, is fascinating for me as a journalist and storyteller. Congratulations to this year’s honorees, as well, for growing their businesses fast despite the economic disruption we all faced over the past three years, from supply chain woes to inflation to changes in the workforce.”

In its fourth consecutive year on the Inc. 5000 list, JST has continued to experience remarkable growth. The company recently added several achievements to its impressive roster of nationally recognized certifications including CMMI V2 Level 3 for Services, CMMI V2 Level 3 for Development, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 20000-1:2018, and ISO 27001:2013. JST was also just awarded the OASIS+ Small Business contract, part of a suite of six multiple-award IDIQ contracts with a five-year base period and a five-year option term.

JST Appraised at CMMI Maturity Level 3 for Services and Development

JST Appraised at CMMI Maturity Level 3 for Services and Development

WICHITA FALLS, TX [25 April 2023]  –Joint Strategic Technologies (JST), a dynamic provider of professional services for our nation’s military and technology systems, announced today that it has been appraised at Level 3 in two capability areas of ISACA’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®). Performed by Integrated Quality Corporation, the appraisal rated JST’s Corporate PMO Services and USAF AFRL Team at CMMI® Maturity Level 3 in both Services and Development.

CMMI® is a process improvement approach that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. JST’s appraisal at Maturity Level 3 indicates that the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, the company’s processes are understood to be well characterized and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for Maturity Level 3, is established and improved over time.

From the battlefield to the back office, JST’s Maturity Level 3 represents the highest form of third-party validation, indicating that its work and processes utilize strict organizational standards and an established set of practices to address individual projects. The appraisal also demonstrates that JST is dedicated to continuous performance improvement to produce the highest quality of products and services.

“This achievement ensures that our current and future clients can truly be confident in their decision to partner with JST,” said Jaime Toogood, JST’s President and CEO. “We are incredibly proud of our team for solidifying our commitment to providing superior services that achieve both project and organizational performance objectives.”

Initially created in 1986 for the U.S. Department of Defense to measure the quality and capability of potential software development contractors, CMMI® has since expanded beyond software engineering to become the globally accepted standard for improving capability.

“Organizations worldwide are harnessing CMMI® to elevate their business performance to new heights, creating a sustainable competitive advantage in the process” said Ron Lear, Senior Director of the CMMI® Program. “We commend JST, its Corporate PMO Services, and USAF AFRL Team on achieving this CMMI® appraisal level and demonstrating their ability as a high-performing organization.”
